Domain Age Checker
A domain's registration date, straight from RDAP — the registry protocol that replaced WHOIS. No scraping, no estimate.
FAQ
Where does this data come from?
RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol) — the standardized, structured successor to WHOIS. The lookup goes directly to the domain's registry.
Why can't I look up a subdomain's age?
Registration only exists at the registrable domain level (example.com, not blog.example.com) — a subdomain isn't separately registered, so we always look up the root.
Does domain age affect Google rankings?
Google has repeatedly said domain age itself isn't a ranking factor. What correlates with rankings is everything that tends to come with an older domain — accumulated backlinks, content history, and trust signals — not the registration date on its own.
